The development program is designed for young talented footballers that are not at the academy level of the professional club, but talented enough to be trained and developed by the club.
If you think you are too good for an ID Camp, a trial, a process, or want a contract right away, remember that there are always much better players than you and there are multiple reason why you aren't a pro yet.
You have to be willing to sacrifice, to invest in yourself, put in the work and realize that it is a long process, not an overnight thing or a 1 trial leads to a contract scenario. There is a reason there is only 1 Pele, 1 Maradona, 1 Messi and 1 Cristiano.
It is your mentality that defines whether you can make it or not with the pros. It is not about the most talented or the hardest working player, but a combination of both with the right mindset. It is all about consistency, maturity, and staying mentally grounded.
If you are the best player in the league or team, then you are playing in the wrong league and the wrong team unless you're playing for the top team in the nation or top university in the country. Always challenge yourself against the best so you never stop evolving and improving.
It is all about fundamentals. No pro team cares if you can do a rainbow, around the world, a million steps overs or any other trick if you have not perfected the fundamentals of the game, which means you work on them every single day of your life.
Refer to block #1, humble yourself. If you play in a lower division, it is for a reason, so do not think that you're too good or above any opportunity presented to you as you are closing your own doors. Figure out what is it about yourself that is preventing you from being a better player.
